Fansipan Discovery 2009” kicked off
in Lao Cai
As scheduled, the program will be
organized from October 29th to
November 1st, 2009 for businesses
and tourists who are keen on
conquering Fansipan Peak, the roof
of Indochina.
Deputy Director of the Lao Cai
Culture, Sport and Tourism
Department, Nguyen Dinh Dung, said
the “Fansipan Discovery 2009”
program will featured series of
interesting activities on the way to
conquer Fansipan Peak. A three-day,
two-night tour is scheduled to start
from the Cat Cat Waterfall that is
different from the traditional route
departing from Xe Mountain. The
route is easy to climb but tourists
will miss some fascinating sites in
the ASEAN Hoang Lien – Sapa heritage
garden.
The Lao Cai Culture, Sport and
Tourism Department is completing the
program and plans to invite the Kun
Ming Mountain Association (Yun Nan,
China) and the national flag carrier
Vietnam Airlines to co-organize and
compete.
